My name is Jackie. I am an independent hair stylist at Kalo.

I have always known I wanted to be a hairstylist. In fact, the first book I remember owning taught me to braid, and I got my first mannequin head for practice when I was just six years old. I have an outgoing personality and have never met a stranger. When I'm not busy with hair, you will find me on a ball field watching my kids' games, trying a new restaurant with my hubby, or thrift shopping (it's a sport!)

 

After graduating cosmetology school, I completed a 12 month internship at Charles Penzone before going independent. While I love all aspects of being a hairstylist, I am particularly drawn to coloring and blonding. I also love styling and creating beautiful updos.

 

My favorite part of my career is the connections I am able to make with my clients. When I receive wedding or baby shower invitations from clients, it warms my heart to know I am more than just the stylist who's done their hair for years.
